Trio Brown Gravy Mix 8 x 467 g

Mint sprigs, fresh

2 oz / 56 g

Potatoes, cut and roasted

12.5 lb / 5.7 kg

Asparagus spears, trimmed, roasted

6.5 lb / 3 kg

Cherry tomatoes, halved, roasted

3.25 lb / 1.5 kg

Lamb shanks, frenched, cooked (braised/roasted)

Mint, fresh (for garnish)

As needed



  1. Prepare brown gravy mix with hot water according to package directions.
  2. Once gravy is prepared, add mint sprigs and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Strain out mint.
  3. Season roasted vegetables to taste.
  4. For one serving, place 4 oz. of roasted potatoes, 2 oz. of roasted asparagus spears, and 1 oz. of roasted cherry tomatoes on the plate.
  5. Add 1 lamb shank to the plate and sauce with minted brown gravy. Garnish with additional mint leaves to taste.

NOTE: This sauce is great with any cut of lamb: cubed stew meat, ground lamb meatloaf or lamb chops.
