Made with KITKAT® Spread and KITKAT® Crushed, this brownie is taken to the next level with the perfect balance of crispy wafer and milk chocolate flavour
Ingredients
- Unsalted butter, melted, 55g
- Brown sugar, 165g
- Sugar, 150g
- Eggs, 100g
- Vanilla extract, 5g
- All-purpose flour, 75g
- Natural cocoa powder, 40g
- Salt, 1 pinch
- KITKAT Spread®, 90g
- Your favourite buttercream recipe, 35g
- KITKAT Crushed®, 10g
Preparation

1Preheat the oven to 350*F, then line a 5" round cake pan with parchment paper.

2Combine the melted butter and sugars until completely dissolved. The gradually add in the eggs until fully incorporated. Add in the vanilla extract.

3In a separate bowl sift together all the dry ingredients, then gently fold into the wet ingredients until just incorporated. Do not overmix.

4Pour the brownie batter into the cake pan and bake for approximately 35-40 minutes.

5De-pan the brownie onto the serving dish and allow to cool before decorating.

6Pour the 90g of KITKAT Spread® on the top of the brownie and spread out evenly.

7Using a piping bag fitted with a large round tip, pipe large round peaks from the center of the cake moving outward.

8Sprinkle KITKAT Crushed® on top and enjoy!
Make sure not to overmix the batter when combining the wet and dry ingredients. Overmixing can lead to a tougher texture in the final brownie. It's important to mix until just combined, ensuring that all the ingredients are evenly distributed without overworking the batter.
