Our Witch Broomsticks Made with KitKat® are a fun and delicious Halloween-inspired chocolate dessert that can be enjoyed by your customers all day long.

This Halloween dessert recipe is taken to the next level with KitKat® Spread and KitKat® Crushed, which allow you to add the beloved flavour of KitKat® to your desserts with ease.

 

Ingredients
  • KITKAT Minis - 12 g each, split into fingers, 18 ea
  • Butter, unsalted, 60ml
  • Mini Marshmallows, 1.25 ltr
  • KITKAT Spread, 100g
  • Puffed rice cereal, 1.5 ltr
  • KITKAT crushed, 100g
  • Milk chocolate chips, melted and cooled slightly, 250ml
  • White chocolate chips, melted and cooled slightly, 125ml

    Grease a baking sheet and set it aside.

    In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir for about 6 minutes until completely melted. Then, stir in the KitKat® Spread and remove from heat.

    Immediately stir in the cereal and KitKat® Crushed until coated. Scrape the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Use wet hands or a buttered spatula to spread it evenly. Let it cool in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

    Remove the mixture from the baking tray onto a cutting board and trim the edges. Cut it into 3 long strips, and then cut each strip into 12 triangles. Create a flat edge at the top of each triangle and make an indent in the top with a chopstick or teaspoon handle.

    Spoon milk chocolate into a resealable bag, snip the bottom corner, and pipe some chocolate into the indents of the triangles. Place 1 KITKAT bar into each triangle, pressing down lightly into the rice cereal treat.

    Spoon white chocolate into a resealable bag, snip the bottom corner, and pipe or drizzle the remaining milk chocolate and white chocolate over the rice cereal treats to resemble bristles.
