Ingredients
  • Dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), 200g
  • Milk chocolate, 100g
  • Milk, 100ml
  • Carnation Hot Chocolate, 1 tsp
  • NESCAFÉ Taster's Choice Coffee, 1 tsp
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Sprinkles
  • Silicone mold
  • Small brush
Preparation

    Temper your dark chocolate by melting 200g of dark chocolate and 100g of milk chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Stir gently until smooth and velvety.

    Scoop a teaspoon of your tempered melted chocolate and add into the silicone mold. Place mold in the fridge for about 15 minutes to allow chocolate to set.

    Take molds out of the fridge and carefully pop out your chocolate spheres.

    To attach the two halves of your hot chocolate balls, warm the edge of the empty half using a hot pan. Then, place the filled half on a stable surface and gently position the empty half on top.

    Carefully fill one of your chocolate half-spheres with a teaspoon of Carnation Hot Chocolate, a teaspoon of NESCAFÉ Taster's Choice instant coffee, mini marshmallows, and a sprinkle of your favourite toppings.

    Use the leftover warm chocolate and a small brush to seal the seam where the two chocolate halves meet. This will ensure that our coffee and hot chocolate balls are completely sealed. Once sealed, decorate with more sprinkles or a drizzle of melted chocolate.

    Warm up 100ml of milk and pour into your serving glass. To serve, place the mocha sphere into the glass of milk to watch the hot chocolate magic happen.

It's important to use a stable surface when filling up your coffee and hot chocolate balls. We suggest using a shot glass as your surface for the perfect fit.
